Java Developer

We are looking for a motivated Java Developer with 1–2 years of experience to design, develop and maintain scalable applications. You should have a strong foundation in Java, good problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, test and maintain Java-based applications.
- Write clean, efficient and reusable code following best practices.
- Help design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Debug and resolve technical issues in existing applications.
- Take part in code reviews and help improve development processes.
- Work with databases to manage and optimise queries.
Required skills and qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Java and a basic understanding of Spring Boot / the Spring Framework.
- Good understanding of OOP concepts and data structures.
- Experience building or consuming REST APIs.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL and MongoDB.
- Familiarity with Git.
- Understanding of the SDLC and Agile methodologies.
Preferred skills
- Exposure to microservices architecture.
- Basic knowledge of Docker or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
- Experience with Maven or Gradle.
- Knowledge of debugging and performance-tuning basics.
Soft skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
